  • Who doesn’t love the beach?
    Both of us are beach lovers, but we knew a destination wedding could get a little complicated. So, we decided to bring the beach to Ohio.

  • It’s our anniversary!
    We started dating on New Year's Eve, 2018. Not only will we be celebrating our 6th anniversary, but we’re also throwing a killer New Year’s Eve party for our friends & family.

  • Aloha Cocktail!
    Break out your beach favorites! This includes Hawaiian, tropical, floral print, and brightly colored shirts & dresses. Feel free to go all out or keep it classic.

    Your invitation includes details on how many seats you're allotted.

    Start looking for a babysitter! This is an adult-only celebration.

  • Depends!
    During the ceremony, leave it to the professionals! We hired some great photographers who would love to capture an unplugged ceremony.
    Outside of the ceremony, snap away!

Venue

  • Yes!
    The ceremony and reception are both located at The Lift (separated by a short flight of stairs).

  • Easy!
    There’s lots of parking on-site. No extra walking necessary.
    However, if you plan on partying, please use our Uber voucher code (rmPU3ZkbfzE) to hitch a ride to and from the venue!

  • Yes!
    There are ramps and elevators at the venue, making it easy for anybody to get around.

  • Indoors!
    Everything is completely indoors – no need to bundle up!

Schedule

  • 6–6:30 PM
    The earliest you can arrive at The Lift is 6:00 PM.

  • 6:30 PM
    The ceremony starts at 6:30 PM (and it WILL be on time — Connor & Ali are famously punctual).

  • 6:00–6:30 Guests arrive
    6:30–7:00 Ceremony
    7:00–8:00 Cocktail Hour
    8:00–8:30 Reception & Dinner
    8:30–12:00 Dancing
    12:00 NYE Celebration
    12:00–12:30 Guests leave

  • Of course!
    After the reception ends, you can find us at the hotel bar! We’ve confirmed they’ll be open until 2:30 AM just for us.

    We’re going to recommend grabbing a bite before the ceremony starts – there will be plenty of food, but not until later in the evening!

  • NO!
    Our venue prohibits guests bringing outside food & drink. They will fine us if they catch you, so PLEASE don’t!

Travel

  • Dayton International Airport
    DAY is very close to our venue and the hotel, but you can also try CVG or CMH (which are both about an hour drive away).
